Project Description

2021 VIRTUAL INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING SERVICE

The Chapter’s annual Thanksgiving, its second Interfaith Virtual Thanksgiving Service, was held on Sunday, October 10, 2021, to give thanks to God for His mercy, grace and blessings. This service marked KDU Northeast’s twelfth Thanksgiving Service since its inception. Approximately 140 people participated in a well organized/coordinated Service whose theme was “A Journey of Hope”. The Chapter received support from members of other Global chapters as well as the Global Chair, Dr. Princess Dougan, who said a few words of support. Offerings/donations were received during and immediately following the Service and continue to pour in. The monies collected will help fund the Chapter’s philanthropic projects in Sierra Leone.

Appreciation and thanks to the Social Committee members, the Executive Committee, our steadfast and willing technology expert Mr. Adesina During as well as our young adult moderators for the hard work and commitment devoted to organizing the Service to ensure success. Feedback pouring in thereafter continues to be very positive and encouraging.
